I've updated the NetBeans softwre development environment on Athena to 5.5
beta 2. To run it:
add netbeans
netbeans
From my message to users:
NetBeans 5.5 beta 2 has been installed and is now the default. To run 5.0 for
a limited time:
add netbeans
netbeans -ver 5.0 &
User configuration files will be stored below a ~/.netbeans/5.5beta2
directory in you home directory. "Help" -> "Release Notes" and the
"What's New" button on the Welcome screen will point you to
information about new features in this release (Firefox/Mozilla may fail to
launch on first attempt, but it should if you try again).
The Profiler and C/C++ packs are included with the installation.
