I've installed Gambas on Athena. From my message to users:
Gambas 1.0.16 has been installed on Athena for Linux. Gambas is a
language and development environment similar to, but not an exact
clone of, Visual Basic. It supports a variety of object-oriented
extensions that allow interfacing applications to networking,
database, audiovisual and other components (not all these are
available in the version of Gambas on Athena due to missing
dependencies). There is internal documentation, and a documentation
site/Wiki at http://gambasdoc.org/help.
