I've installed Orbisnap on Athena for Sun and Linux. Orbisnap is a
VRML2/97 3d scene viewer with an intuitive user interface; it can
manage virtual scene viewpoints, save VRML files, run dynamic
animations and connect to a remote server running the Matlab Virtual
Reality Toolbox. You may want to compare it to freewrl, which is the
other VRML2 viewer currently on Athena.
To run it:
add orbisnap
orbisnap file.wrl
There are a number of examples at http://www.orbisnap.com/gallery.html on
the Orbisnap Web site that will show what it can do (the first two of these
have been installed in the orbisnap_v0.2 locker, below the share directory).
