So, I was working on thesis, when I discovered another way to punt.
The dotfile generator has been installed in the outland locker for all
major platforms (any platform that has tcl/tk).
It lets you configure your dotfiles for (among other things): emacs,
tcsh, and fvwm.
to run:
add outland
dotfile
There are other modules out there (for procmail, apache, and a few
other things. If there are interested people, please tell me
and I'll fetch them).
