I've updated the Eclipse SDK on Athena to 3.1M4. From my message to users:
Eclipse on Athena has been updated to release 3.1M4 and has been made the
default.
To run release 3.0.0 now, type:
add eclipse-sdk
eclipse -ver 3.0.0
Please read file /mit/eclipse-sdk_v3.1m4/README.athena in the
eclipse-sdk_v3.1m4 locker for important information about workspace
configuration.
IMPORTANT: read the file above before running File -> Switch Workplace.
It's probably a good idea to keep projects created in 3.0.0 in
separate workspaces from ones created under 3.1m4 to avoid version
compatibility problems, unless you're prepared to switch to working in
3.1 exclusively. Once project files have been run on Eclipse 3.1m4, it
may not be possible to run them on earlier Eclipse versions any more.
The Xmlbuddy plugin is not available as it has not yet been adapted to
Eclipse 3.1.
As before, the Java version used depends on the "current" link in the
java locker- at this writing, this will be 1.5.0_01 which is the
latest production Java version available (older Eclipse releases are
not Java 1.5-compatible).
