I've installed the Adobe Acrobat Reader (Acroread) version 3.0 beta 12
in outland. Acroread is a reader for viewing PDF files.
This release includes a Linux version!!! It is installed for
all platforms it's available for:
Linux
HP/UX
Sparc Solaris (Sun's)
MIPS Irix (SGI's)
NetBSD 1.2 and newer
Note that it doesn't work on RS/6k's (it requires AIX 4.1.1),
Ultrix, or versions of NetBSD prior to 1.2 (which includes most
of the NetBSD machines out there).
To use it:
add outland
acroread3
Before using it for the first time, you should read the license agreement:
add outland
acroread3 /mit/outland/share/lib/Acrobat3/Reader/License.pdf
Note: Software in the outland locker is unsupported.
