Netscape Navigator 3.01b1 and Netscape Navigator Gold 3.01b1 are now
available in the outland locker. To run:
   add outland
   netscape-beta # For Netscape
   netscape-gold # For Netscape Gold

Netscape 3.01 and 3.01 gold appear to be primarily attempts by netscape
to fix the numerous bugs in 3.0 because of their rush to market to appear
more adept at software engineering than Microsoft. Now, instead of
crashing every time you try to do something, they only crash every _other_
time. The release notes might yield more information, but they're not
there yet. Try:
   http://home.netscape.com/eng/mozilla/3.0/relnotes/unix-3.01b1.html
   http://home.netscape.com/eng/mozilla/3.0/relnotes/unix-3.01b1Gold.html
sometime tomorrow, maybe they'll be on-line by then.

Both Netscape and Netscape Gold are installed for Linux, NetBSD,
Irix, AIX, Solaris, HPUX, and SunOS. Plugin directories are supported
as before, but of course there aren't any plugins for UNIX yet.

   Enjoy!
