I've updated ArcInfo on Athena to release 9.0 and made it the
default. ArcInfo is a GIS programming environment from ESRI that
allows for analyzing and displaying spatial data and making maps.
To run it:
add arcinfo
arcinfo
From my announcement to users:
ArcInfo 9.0 (Sun) has been made the Athena default.
To run ArcInfo 8.3.0 now type:
add arcinfo
arcinfo -ver 8.3.0
We expect to delete 8.3.0 within a few weeks of the date of this message.
