Step 9 in /afs/sipb/project/guests/admin/HOW_TO_USE specifies a
procedure (more than just clean_dir), although I suspect it would be
OK if you used some other version of the clean_dir script that the
.csh one specified. Unfortunately, each of the scripts has a slightly
different behavior, and I don't think we have made any formal policy
decisions since marc wrote the original HOW_TO_USE document.
