| if you're substituting in a new server for an old one, you need to either
| copy over or remove /usr/afs/local/sysid. (if you remove it, the vlserver
| does a surprising facsimile of the right thing)
There was some discussion w/ jhutz about this today. The sysid file
stores a unique identifier for a fileserver, issued by the
vlserver. If we bring up new-rosebud as sipb-server-1, move volumes
from old-rosebud to sipb-server-1, shutdown old-rosebud, and change
sipb-server-1's ip address to rosebud's, then we should *not* remove
the sysid file.
