| ronald-ann is a sunos machine, right?
|
| Has it had its zephyr clients upgraded since we made the server less
| permissive wrt the protocol enhancement we did for secuirty a while back?
Yes and No.
| Have you tried to use a newer cleitn from AFS on r-a ?
Sigh, that fixes the problem. Somehow I erred in my initial diagnosis:
// jhawk.root can send authentic zepyrs from ronald-ann to non-acl'd classes.
// jhawk.root can send zephyrs to -c filsrv from an 8.2 machine.
The first statement was not correct, they were not authentic...
Sorry about that.
Thanks, everything seems fine.
