I've never dealt with this case with ADS, but my approach would be to
callthem up and telling them that the disk wasn't acceptable (ie still
broken).  I suspect you can convince them to actually give us a new
disk.

The procedure is to contact the appropriate person listed in
/mit/ops/project/Vendors/MITprop, and arrange an appointment.
Generally, they'll want a copy of the packing list when tagging
hardware (which contains the PO number among other things), and if it
is a replacement disk the tag number of the disk that was replaced.
Also, they are supposed to contact us at somepoint after the purchase
goes through, (for new purchases, I'm not sure they do for RMAs, since
I don't think the hear about them.)
