ADS tells me that our model of Exabyte is being discontinued (8505).
Do we want to get the Eliant 820? This can be brought up at tonight's
meeting if necessary.
According to www.exabyte.com, the Eliant 820 can read and write to
8500 series tape formats.

Kevin,
Did you know the 8MM Exabyte 8505XL is being discontinued. I do not have
any in stock. I may be able to get some but it will take approximately 2-3
weeks.
Exabyte has a replacment model PN#820 Eliant. I have this in stock. Your
cost will be $1398.
If you have any questions please contact me 978-536-2111.
