I'm sure I've mentioned this to people before, but allow me to suggest
it formally, on the off chance that I haven't done that yet. I really
think SIPB should try using short cables on btc (where short is
something like 2' for the SCSI2-Centronics cable and 1' for the
Centronics-Centronics cable) and an FPT-18 terminator, to see of that
reduces the problems. Although ASO doesn't have a lot of experience
with SSClassics, we have found that SS5s seem to have a very low
tolerance for long SCSI chains.
