Replacing the butc and backup clients for Solaris with the
3.4a.patches4 versions did not eleviate the incompatible interfaces
problem. I'm tempted to take jhawk's suggestion and UTSL--doing
things like looking for
obvious byte order problems, although it would be kind of pathetic if
a Sun client couldn't talk to a Sun server.
Other ideas, devine insights or sources of unending
Decstations that will support future AFS versions would be
appreciated.
