Ok... I'm assuming that the previous faqs group was blown away because
it owned itself. I've recreated it:
Name: faqs, id: -29026, owner: system:administrators, creator: tlyu.root,
membership: 1, flags: S-Mar, group quota: 0.
Members of faqs (id: -29026) are:
pgreene
It's not owned by itself, but if you're a member of the group, you can
add and remove members. This should prevent it from getting blown
away again. I copied the ID from Emily's mail.
You should re-add people who should be in this group by doing:
pts adduser username faqs -c sipb
To remove people
pts removeuser username faqs -c sipb
What probably happened is someone accidentally using "delete", which
would have caused the group to disappear, most likely.
