Alright, we definitely have some problems on sipb-server-1.
* After a reboot, the system failed to find the disks on esp0
at all (the previous time, it failed to find the disks until
I ran the "format" command, but I was able to label them
fine).
* When attempting to label the disks on esp1, I get:
esp1: Current command timeout for Target 1 Lun 0
esp1: State=DATA_DONE (0xa), Last State=DATA (0x9)
esp1: Cmd dump for Target 1 Lun 0:
esp1: cdb=[ 0xa 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x1 0x0 ]
esp1: Target 1.0 reducing sync. transfer rate
sd5: SCSI transport failed: reason 'reset': giving up
I tried changing the terminator, but that didn't help.
I'm going to try testing the disks on another machine (probably
bill-the-cat) for obvious problems like this, but given the SCSI
errors we were getting on the machine before, it's probably a problem
with the machine itself. Jonathon, how difficult would it be to
arrange a swap?
