Sure. I'm not particularly picky about the name of the volume :)
In addition to the centralizing the database, we'll try to do some
sort of encryption on the link. (I'm leaning towards using ssh with
blowfish or arcfour, but that would require additional authentication
keys... I'll look into that and v5rsh... eventually.)
