So, I was looking at jweiss's message about DLT configuration
in /kernel/drv/st.conf. According to Marc, he did something
similar. I could not find this change in the current st.conf on btc,
so I tried installing jweiss's suggested patch and rebooting. This
appears to have significantly improved the speed of the backup,
although it is still not streaming.
I will copy the file into the appropriate changes directory.
