I've been watching these disks, and they're fans have been stalling
pretty regularly. I suspect it's worth getting these enclosures
replaced. At the very least, could someone who's around
more often than I please check the disks every so often, to
make sure they don't start frying themselves?

Subject: stalled fans...
While in the machine room this evening, I noticed that the fans on the
R^2 4gb 1/2 height disks on bedfellow and ronald-ann had stalled,
and the cases were both a bit warm. I used my swiss army knife to
kick start the fans, and then manually blew any stray dust out of
the fans. The fans are now running, and all appears to be ok,
but I won't make any bets on how long this might last.
