Alright, I went and tried to set up the backup system such that there is
no need to have root access to perform backups (unless you f**k up majorly).
So, I just tested it by trying to back up anxiety as yoav, and so far seem
to be succeeding.
Anyway, I asked at the meeting if people are interested in performing
backups, and got lots of interested replys from propsectives and members.
Although root is no longer needed on those machines, they are all set up
in such a way that a login functionally gives one root.

So, basically, I'm asking here now if people have any objections
to me attempting to get about two people or so (or possibly one per machine)
to perform the backups. I can reconfigure the machines so that backup
mail goes somewhere other than root (privacy concern?), but what I want to
know is if anybody objects.

I will ask for approval of whomever I am thinking of asking to do
the backups, and will give preference to a maintainer of a machine, and
the to sipb members, and finally, prospectives. If there are reasons
you would rather not have anyone else have logins to the machine, please
express them now (I am willing to perform backups, as is Jonathan and
mwhitson, though the more people have to deal, the more likely it is to
get done - especially as there are now five machines to back up).
