} UPCOMING SHUTDOWNS

} The following is a tentative list of electrical shutdowns that
} will be necessary to perform this late winter/early spring. I will
} probably begin in a week or so. Realizing the impact loss of power has
} on the community, I thought you would like advance notice of what was
} coming up in your areas, so that you may start preparing. Please keep
} in mind, the shutdowns will still be cleared through the Operations Center
} as is normal procedure.

} This being one of the most sensitive and difficult to schedule,
} we will be very flexible. Preventive maintenance, testing and cleaning
} are desperately needed on all of the feeder breakers in the main
} switchgear. It will take close to 20 hours to do all of them. Most
} shutdowns will be only a half hour or less, but I need a shutdown for
} each breaker. I anticipate these shutdowns will take place late at
} night, over several nights.
