There was a retry error on the rz25 Saturday morning:
OCCURRED/LOGGED ON Sat Dec 31 02:52:46 1994 EST
...
ERROR TYPE x0000 DEVICE ERROR
SUB-ERROR TYPE 0.
SCSI ID 2.
FLAGS x00440019 SCSI CMD PKT
SCSI EXTENDED SENSE
SCSI CTLR & DMA REGS
RETRY ERROR
NCR53C94
CMD BLK x0000000000000010EC38060A
CMD x000A WRITE
which doesn't seem particularly good given the presumably low amount
of activity on the rz25. Also, I got this information by copying the
syserr file and running uerf on another machine. uerf doesn't run on
ronald-ann2 since /srvd doesn't exist. Actually, it gives a fairly
interesting error message which, I think, points out a bug in uerf:
Can't open input file .usr/bin/X11/uerf.bin!
Hint: the last two entries in root's path are '/usr/bin/X11' and '.'.
Is there supposed to be hesiod cluster information for ronald-ann2, or
do we just want a permanent symlink from /srvd to the 7.7 directory?
