Come see Dave Fitzpatrick show off "OS/2 for Windows" to the
"Dos Tech Partners" meeting, Tuesday, Feb 8, at noon, in E40-302.
The next meeting of the MIT OS/2 USERS GROUP will be Thursday,
February 17, at 5pm in room 2-105. We hope to talk about IBM TCPIP,
AFS, and using OS/2 on MITnet and ResNet. Also, a quick introduction to
multithreaded programming will be given.
Also, I have received about 20 copies of IBM's "Personal Software
Technical Newsletter" issue 2, 1993. It's about 80 pages of articles
about OS/2, no ads. Includes "Home Computing with OS/2", "Technical
Update", "Maximizing OS/2 Multimedia Performance", "Workplace OSs",
"Microkernal Technology" and much, much more.
If you would like a copy, send me large (9"x12") interdepartmental
envelope with your interdepartmental address and a note saying "Please
send me PSTN#2". There will also be some copies available at Tuesday's
"Dos Tech Partners" meeting.
Happy OS/2ing!
