Any suggestions on this one? I'm using IBM's TCP/IP and have not tried Novell's
LAN WP.
Happy Computing,
John

It's been a while since I bothered you. So it was about time.
I have been using OS/2, v.2.1, for some time now. Mostly everything works
fine, but where I seem to get into trouble is when I try to use
communications managing software like Gopher or WWW or now, Mosaic.
The windows versions of these programs need a "winsock.dll" to provide
networking under windows. That is not part of what I use.
Is there a way around this? I can't install this in my LAN WP software and
expect it to work, can I? Do I just have to wait for an OS/2 version?
I would appreciate any suggestions (or referrals), because I am stuck. And
I am not really interested in capitulating to the windows crowd.
Thanks.
