I installed OS/2 Warp last week. It's been making me pull my hair out a
bit, but generally works ok. (accidentally hit X instead of C at the alt-F1
menu and spent an hour cleaning up because my display driver had to be
reinstalled.)
I got OS2 Lan Workplace from bitsy, and installed it. It installed the
repeater stuff, I got the appropriate driver for my 3C509, and everything
was OK. When I reboot, however, the 3C509 driver loads, and then it tries
to load the LANWP stuff.. like TCPIP.OS2, etc. It gives me this weirdo
SYS1201 error "file not installed". If you type HELP SYS1201, it gets even
more cryptic. The files are they, why can't they be installed? (no, it's
not a file not found; different.)
Thanks,
Pat McCormick
