os2 video problems

To anybody who can help:
I have had a copy of os2 warp for 6 months and have only just been
able to get it to install due to various small problems. I have a Phoenix
Technologies Quadtel S3 video driver which configures properly during
installation. After a warm boot, the video display works fine, however,
after a cold boot OS2 cannot display video - the monitor displays
signal failure. Since I can't leave my computer on all the time, I am
unable to use OS2. After six months of attempting to fix the problem, I
am desperate. Surely I cannot be the only person in the world with this
display card and this problem. Would it be possible for you to pass my
query of help around your user group to see if anybody has had this
problem and has a remedy.
