Hi,

I would prefer not to run the WPS on my laptop in order to conserve memory. I'm
familiar enough with UNIX that I actually prefer a command prompt to the GUI
interface. However, if I use the command prompt, how do I go about setting the
environment variables for the DOS programs I run? Previously under WPS, if I
clicked the right mouse button on the program icon in the Icon View, I would
get to the Settings menu where I could specify the environment for each
program. My guess is I have to write a batch file to set the correct variables.
Is there any documentation on this or is there an example file anywhere for me
to take a look at? I thought there may be something in the Desktop directory,
but I found nothing in my DOS Programs subdirectory.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
