Today, I went to the Object World trade show in Boston, and got some
more information about the upcoming "VisualAge C++" developement
platform that we saw a glimpse of at the last M.I.T. OS/2 Users Group
meeting. At the show, IBM won the "People's Choice, Best New Product"
and "Judges' Choice, Best New Development Tool" awards for the product.
(On a side note, in order to be eligible for the awards, vendors had to
commit to delivering the product within 90 days, so think June).

Anyway, I got some packets about the product that include the following:

Little glossy brochure thing about VisualAge C++
Whitepaper called "IBM C++ Family Overview"
Whitepaper called "Object-Oriented Programming with VisualAge C++"
Whitepaper called "Visual Construction from Parts with VisualAge C++"
Whitepaper called "IBM Open Class Library"
Free subscription card for "OS/2 Developer"

If you want one of these, send me email. I've got 30 of them, so there
should be enough to go around. I'll bring the rest of them to the next
(April 20th) M.I.T. OS/2 Users Group meeting.
