I have mailed out (by interdepartmental mail) the OS/2 2.1 CD-ROM and
rebate coupons to everyone who asked, but I am now out. Hopefully I
will be getting more soon, and I will let you know when I do.

The Generous Mr. Lloyd Webber (the presenter from last Thursday) just
sent us 50 copies of OS/2 Warp "Prerelease Version". Each package
includes one page install instructions, two 3.5" disks, and two CD-ROMS
(one for OS/2 and one for the Bonus Pack). I have not checked the
contents of the CD, but I imagine that this is gamma level code.

This is *not* a free copy of OS/2. Here's the license :

... Your license for the Programs terminates 14 days after the general
availability of the Programs or October 31, 1994, whichever is earlier.
Upon termination, you agree to destroy all copies of the Programs ...

If you agree to this license, and want to "begin evaluating and testing
OS/2 Warp prior to its general availability", send me email with your
indepartmental address, and I will drop it in the mail, or come by my
office and pick it up. My office is 38-591 (call 3-1938 to see if I'm
in... I do have classes today).

First come, first serve.

--> Kent.
