Is there significant interest in OS/2 at M.I.T.?

For about 13 years, I have been working as an engineering consultant,
specializing
in developing OS/2 applications. Most of these have been device drivers and
internet server applications (HTTP, SMTP, NNTP, Z39.50, etc.) In 1982, I
graduated from Syracuse University with a Master of Science degree in
computer
engineering. I have often thought of going back and completing a doctorate.
Might there be a possibility of an opening at M.I.T. for a research or
teaching
assistant in electrical or computer engineering that could help me towards
this goal?
