Login system implies that there's some sort of filesystem protection.
OS/2 is a single-user OS. One of the implications is that anyone
sitting front of your computer can accidentally/maliciously type format
and blow away your hard disk. As opposed to Unix, where you have to
type "su -cf mkfs /dev/rz0a" AND you have to remember the root password.
"format C:" is much more user friendly. :-)
