I represent a leading technology solutions provider to the
telecommunications industry. We are seeking a senior
level software developer (unix device drivers).
Description: Exciting opportunity for talented Unix
device driver writer. Your expertise will help design,
build, and maintain broadband network device drivers.
The chosen will be technically sharp and have a proven
track record of delivering products. We are looking for
individuals with excellent conceptual and implementation
skills in the Unix system and Unix kernel environment.
This opportunity is in Northern California and provides a
solid engineering environment, and stock and bonus plan.
Requirements: * 3 to 5 years experience in C/Unix
system level development * 2 years Unix device writing
experience * Experience with kernel level streams *
Multi-threaded programming experience * Full product
life cycle experience * Bachelor of Science Degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics Big
Pluses: * Experience with PCI drivers and/or hardware *
Experience in writing Solaris device drivers Pluses: *
Experience in writing Linux, HP-UX and/or AIX device
drivers * Experience/knowledge of TCP/IP networking *
Experience in telcommunications environments
Responsibilties: Design, develop, test, and maintain
telecommunications host software and related networking
