I represent a leading edge technology consulting firm in a search for
people to join a team of full time professional consultants.
Although there are needs througout the United States, the most
immediate needs are in the Boston, MA area.
The following is the job description:
Position Title: Oracle Applications Functional Project Leader
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for leading the users through the implementation of the
Oracle Financials and/or HRMS/Payroll Suite of Applications Software
Products. Will also review the Business Processes, perform Gap/Fit
Analysis, define options and develop and test the system and
customizations/modifications. Will work with users to ensure the
system meets the project objectives.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
* Perform flexfield analysis, provide setup decisions, and assist
with installation or pre/post upgrade steps
* Review the business processes with users, management and the
systems group
* Perform Gap Analysis and determine alternatives to the required
functionality
* Document the solution design and assist programming with the
development effort
* Develop Test Plans, procedures, and training manuals
* Perform end-user training and assist with testing
* Develop and monitor the project plan providing the team with actual
performance.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
* REQUIRED
* User Background
* Functional experience with the Oracle Financials and/or
HRMS/Payroll Suite of software applications
* GUI/Client Server experience
* Experience with customizing Oracle Applications
* Able to think, reengineer and communicate
* Work as a team member
* PREFERRED
* Two+ years Oracle and Oracle Applications experience
* Business, Accounting, or related industry degree
* SQL knowledge helpful
* Oracle Developer 2000 knowledge helpful
* Five (5) years Information Technology systems experience
