In addition to all the sound advice already provided, I would add that
if you decide to do something unusual, make sure the documentation trail
[publicly-reachable data in whois/irr/dns/etc] is clear. Be aware that
from the outside there is no way to tell "clever" from "malicious" and
that's why some of the derisively-called routing police get in a twist.
