Hello,
Richard Steenbergen has released IRR Power Tools, a PHP and CVS-based
framework for using IRR data to manage prefix-lists for BGP customers.
You can learn more about his project at:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/irrpt/
This seems particularly relevant given recent outages attributed to
routing leaks, as well as the inability of many transit providers to
generate customer prefix-lists from IRR, instead resorting to much
more old fashioned and error-prone e-mail + cut-and-paste jobs.
(Please contact <ras@e-gerbil.net> with any questions regarding the
software. My only involvement with IRRPT is that of a satisfied user
and occasional feedback contributor, spreading the word as Richard's
posting privileges have been revoked by by Dr. Harris...)
Regards,
