I used to work for a small ISP in the Chicagoland suburbs that did
business with a company called Innerwise (aka, ItsYourDomain.com). I
have been getting automated scripts from roky@shell.theworld.com for
weeks that have no way to respond, but threaten FVI and Innerwise, and
report to all their upstreams.
I want to make it clear to those people over at The World that I don't
appreciate getting emails from them, and also that FVI is not involved
with anything at Innerwise anymore, other then providing dialup pops for
their Chicago area customers. Also, their script lists a netblock to be
revoked 207.252.20.0/23, which was for a data line cancelled over 8
months ago, not used by FVI since then. They have their own ASN and
their own ARIN assigned /19, and only kept the T1 ip addresses for
legacy T1 customers. They don't exist, so AT&T cannot revoke them.
If a real person at The World wants someone who still works at FVI that
they can contact, I would happily provide them an address. However, in
the mean time, STOP SPAMMING ME ABOUT YOUR SPAM.
Sorry for bothering everyone else.
