F actually has 16 nodes live right now, not 12 as it says in the
article; a couple came live in the last week or two. There's a complete
list at <http://f.root-servers.org>.

The resilience of the infrastructure against denial-of-service attacks
is one important aspect of the security of the DNS. The fact that
there's still no reliable and widely-deployed way to authenticate
answers received in response to queries also probably deserved a
mention.

It's vaguely amusing that "anycast" is becoming a marketing buzzword.
