Actually, there are several policy proposals that may be
of particular interest to ISPs that may not normally
pay much attention to ARIN. For instance, RWHOIS
server requirements could change, the whole whois
directory could be significantly different, the
requirements for additional address space could
be tougher/easier/different...

If you really want to join in to an informed debate 
then you should start by looking through the proposals at
http://www.arin.net/policy/proposal_archive.html

Then you should go to 
http://www.arin.net/mailing_lists/index.html
where you can see the archive for PPML
(ARIN Public Policy Mailing List) and subscribe
to it if you have something to say.

And finally, if you are an ARIN member and you
are already flying to Chicago, why not attend the
ARIN members meeting on the 2 1/2 days following
