I'd like to set one thing straight: It is completely bogus if
people run around believing there are huge amounts of non-US
traffic transiting the US, clogging up exchanges and whatnot.
The volume of this kind of traffic is completely in the noise
compared to traffic which is sourced and/or destined in/for the
US; any argument suggesting the opposite is misguided or wilfully
misleading.
