First, as always, the important information 5 people died in Cuba during
Hurricane Michelle.
Electric and telephone lines are still down in the western part
of the island. Electric power was turned off by authorities
before the storm. International telephone service has been restored,
but reaching people in Cuba is still spotty. Internet service appears
to be fuctional, but determining the true physical location of a host is
always a guess.
Hurricane Michelle missed most of South Florida and is moving away from
the Bahamas.
