The original report came from a security bulletin from
a different major carrier in the New York City area. I
hadn't heard back from the official contacts at the carrier
today, but a person was kind enough to send me the e-mail
address of a person high up in the carrier's management.
He responded to me this afternoon.

All the vehicles have now been found and accounted for.
He believes the vehicles were accidently taken by other
employees. As you know, all the trucks are painted alike,
and anyone who has a large fleet of vehicles knows its
not uncommon for keys to work in multiple vehicles.
