{Necessary but not sufficient....}

My point still stands. Verizontal has not had {sufficient}
POTS disasters to provoke attention from the recipients
of campaign contributions.

SBC *did*|*does*... USWorst did|?still does?

No LegisCritter gives a rats ass about non-POTS service, be it
DSL, T1, frame, 3001, MMDS or LSMFT. Hell, most can barely dial
a phone since the finger holes went away.  {Remember Bush the
Senior and grocery store scanners?}
