Where I was at the time (in the early '70's) our disaster recovery
documentation included a discussion on selecting the method of getting
our stuff to the "hot site" backup location (How many unfamiliar terms
have I used so far?).
Among the alternatives in that discussion were "wide-band truck" and
"wide-band airplane".
We thought we had invented the concept.
