Per Request, I'm going to go ahead and list a summary of the points
regarding my request for reference about Broadwing. It's sure to draw fire
and I apologize to *everybody* for that in advance. The following list is
not fully comfirmed, however, the points have been re-iterated on several
occasion among the sixty or so emails that I have received regard my request
for a reference:
Tier-2 Network shooting for Tier-1
Merger between IXC and Cincinatti Bell
Originally focused as a LD voice network
OC192 circuits focused for voice service
Internet Peering structure still infant
No MAE peering. Only private peering.
One year old.
Original COO moved to InterNAP.
Similar staffing scenarios as GLBX.
- Loss of Top & Mid Level Technical Staff
- Staff churning in Sales & Tech
Resells dial-up service for Ziplink
Please feel free to point out any inaccuracies (I know you all will
anyways). Tried to keep to the facts here.
