Although blackhole routes pop up fairly frequently, almost always
downstream the same major backbone provider, it doesn't get very
much coverage. Most folks assume its just the Internet being
flacky instead of corrupt routing information being injected into
the net.
Wired covered the blackhole routing which affected Napster today.
