There was an underground cable fire in the main financial district
in South Korea. Several banks and at least one ISP lost high-speed
telecommunications service from Friday through Sunday. Although
only 33,000 lines were affected, due to the location, they tended to
be the very high value lines.

A full investigation has been promised.

Speaking of full investigations, has anyone heard whatever happened
to the investigation into the fire at the telco central office in
Toronto's financial district last year?
