Given that the technical resources at the NYSE are significant and the leng=
thy duration of the outage, I believe this is more serious than is being re=
ported. OTOH, the fact that the market is now mostly decentralized and inst=
ruments are multiply listed, the impact of the NYSE is much less serious th=
an it used to be.
