I stopped using their [network] hardware and shifted to using real =
Access-Points do perform that function. They provide too little =
intelligence when there is trouble, so rebooting becomes standard =
operating procedure. I went to unifi hardware for my house and have =
been very happy since. A bit "overkill", but I can ssh in and poke, as =
well as use the admin webpage to futz with settings and see when the =
kids wake up and are on the internet at 5am when they should be =
sleeping.

I can setup a 802.1q trunk/vlan and do guestnet with varying levels of =
access/speed.

I do need to install an outdoor unit in the back of the yard to improve =
coverage there :)
