I, and I'm sure the other registry people as well, would be extremely
interested if there were new policies which would help increase both
address usage efficiency and routing efficiency. Current policies
are, in my opinion, rather lacking in any semblance of rationality.
However, I would note that there was an Internet Draft,
draft-hubbard-registry-guidelines-00.txt, available and that that
draft has apparently expired with essentially *NO* comment from any
ISPs.
I am certain that the people involved in writing the first draft would
be more than happy to entertain reasonable suggestions on how to
improve the current allocation procedures.
